All Hallow’s Eve

Location: Logan Square - Logan Blvd. at Kedzie Blvd.

In 1995, Redmoon Theater claimed the Logan Square streets with a Lantern Parade that developed into a parade and spectacle in 1997. The event continued to grow, incorporating large performance sites and significant art installations, and involving diverse community groups to create a public exchange that involved an audience of up to 10,000 people in one night. By 2002, All Hallows’ Eve featured shrines built by thousands of community members, rituals, art installations, pageantry, pyrotechnics, and a large-scale spectacle that culminated at the corner of Fullerton and Logan Boulevard.
